Cycles and seasons ~ Selkie dance.
This Drum took me on a journey as they often do. Underneath this painting is a beautiful mermaid laying in a circular shape with a seal. It was about coming home to the self. It didn’t happen, and I ended up being guided where I was being lead and this Drum came to fruition. I guess the metaphor here is beneath these connections that we make there is an important element in remaining with, and coming back to yourself.
This top layer speaks of the beauty of deep soul connections. Some people come into our life for a day, a week, a year. Years. Sometimes a lifetime, or 3. It’s about the feeling of recognition. Receiving the gift of another and their medicine. It’s about discernment, trust and inner knowing. It’s also about communication. Sometimes when people deeply touch our lives, we have come together in a sense to wake each other up, bring healing and evolution, and in these deep soul connections it is always a two way street.
Sometimes the energy flows open and dance and sometimes its shifts and changes. It’s always perfect. It’s about letting what comes, come. To letting what goes, go. Sitting in a place of gratitude, lovingly accepting what is, and balance. Alignment. Timing too.
At the end of the day, be true to you ~ Trust the ebb and flow of the tide ❤️ we are made up, a large percentage of us, of water after all.
